MISSION STATEMENT

A mission statement is a brief statement of the purpose of an organization. The intention of a mission statement is to keep members of the organization and those that seek the service of the organization members aware of the organization's purpose. The primary purpose must always be to uphold the interests of those the organization serves.

"The Mission Statement of the Burbank Glendale Pasadena Airport Authority Police Department will be to maintain diligence for, and respond to acts of civil disobedience in order to prevent personal injury, damage to public and private property, preserve the peace, protect the rights of all people, make arrests for violations of law and to manage crowds and traffic to optimize airport safety efficiently."

"The mission of the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority Police Department is to protect life and property, promote a safe and secure environment to be enjoyed by the public and the aviation community, to provide a courageous, courteous and professional law enforcement response to criminal and civil incidents as well as threats to Homeland Security, while continuously serving with respect, honor and integrity."
